The Mx Group Welcomes New COO

nate ulery coo 0121 news feature 870x486 1The Mx Group, a marketing agency, hired Nathan A. Ulery as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead corporate functions and inform digital strategy for the organization.

Ulery is experienced in delivering large-scale technology transformations with clients, leading three different technology consulting practices, integrating acquisitions and building leadership teams. In addition to his work at The Mx Group, Ulery will continue to serve on the board of directors at Chicago Scholars, which helps academically ambitious students from under-resourced communities navigate through academic and professional transitions.

Banzai Acquires Webinar Platform Start-Up Demio

Banzai, an SaaS provider of marketing automation solutions, acquired start-up webinar platform Demio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The integration of Demio’s platform positions Banzai as a complete, end-to-end virtual event solution that includes targeted lead generation, virtual hosting and full webinar functionality.
